What are Airsoft Guns?
Airsoft guns are replica firearms that shoot a 6 millimeter plastic or biodegradable bb that is about the size of a pea.
Are Airsoft Guns Legal in My Town?
Yes but certain cities, towns and municipalities may have a specific ordinance concerning the use of replica firearms. It is up to the end user to make sure you are aware of any special laws or ordinances in your town and state.
Where can I shoot my Airsoft Gun?
Airsoft guns have an effective range of about 100 feet. As long as the user wears protective eyewear direct combat and target shooting is safe almost anyplace indoors or out, where allowed by law.
Will an airsoft bb penetrate my skin?
In most cases no. However a close up shot of 2 feet or less could possibly penetrate the skin. At most airsoft combat clubs light protective outer wear such as a light nylon jacket or long sleeve pants and shirt are required.
Do I have to be 18 to own an airsoft gun?
No. Adult supervision is suggested for children under 18. However at Fairchild Gift Company we do require you to be 18 or older to purchase our unique airsoft guns.

What are the rules for airsoft gun scenario games?
Eye Protection: All airsoft competitors must wear eye protection preferably a full face mask should be worn by all airsoft players. If you plan on joining a team and playing at a commercial airsofting field or tournament then you will be required to have a ISO9001 certified face shield. Nobody wants to be responsible for shooting someones eye out so eye safety gear should be worn anytime you are shooting your airsoft gun.
BB Kills or Hits: If you are struck by a bb in an airsoft scenario or tournament game you are considered DEAD. This means you are out of the current game unless the game has special rules. Airsoft games have a designated safe zone, once you are hit announce loudly and clearly HIT put your weapon above your head and proceed to the nearest safe zone. If your weapon gets hit you are not out, however some airsoft scenario games call for the weapon to be taken out of play for the remainder of the game.
